Application

The air cooled screw chiller and heat pump is used for heating and cooling applications in large commercial structures such as malls, office buildings, workshops, hotels, and hospitals. The air cooling unit is especially preferred in locations in which water is scarce.

Product features

The chiller and pump features a modular design. Each module has the same dimensions except for length. By combining different modules, various cooling and heating demands can be met. Each module is connected through a sophisticated communication system that is controlled by a micro-computer for maximum efficiency.

Easy assembly
All assemblies are finished in our factory. Prior to delivery, the products are strictly tested and adjusted. When assembling the equipment onsite, the machine can immediately be put into operation after connecting it to a power supply.

Space saving
The machine set features a waterproof design. It can be directly installed on a building's roof, inside, or near the structure.

No need for installation of cooling tower
The machine set adopts air cooling methods, which is convenient for management and maintenance. It is especially applicable for the places lack of water.

Cost saving
It reduces the material costs, assembly costs, operation costs, and maintenance costs compared to other refrigeration corollary equipment because it does not require a cooling tower, cooling system pipeline, or cooling circulating water pump.

Easy operation
The machine is controlled through an easy to use interface on its panel. The panel displays the running status, running data, and warning status. The controller allows for time control and it allows for automated operation.

High energy efficiency and low noise
The machine features a high performance semi-hermetic dual screw type compressor with a condenser and refrigeration components supplied by trusted manufacturers. The optimal design and assembly is thanks to strict testing and quality control measures during production. The equipment features an automatic temperature control system for the automatic adjustment of load to minimize the use of electrical power during cooling and heating applications.

Attractive appearance and excellent corrosion resistance
The shell is constructed from galvanized steel sheet. The external surface is coated with electrostatic plastic. This gives the cooling unit improved adaptability, particularly when installed outdoors.

Main components of air cooled screw chiller and heat pump

Screw type compressor
1. High-performance screw type compressor, 20% higher energy efficiency compared to normal compressor.
2. Four-segment (100%-75%-50%-25%), three-segment (100%-66%-33%) and non-segment control system.
3. Built-in oil pressure system can guarantee the best lubricating effect of the compressor without an oil pump. Double layer filter type oil separator and compressor are combined. External oil separator can be installed under special conditions.
4. R134a, R407c and other environmental friendly cold media can be adopted.
5. All-around compressor volume ratios with VI=2.2, 2.6, 3.0 and 3.5 are optional, which can effectively avoid energy waste by over-compression or under-compression. Volume control system is composed of a solenoid valve and slide valve, which can easily achieve partial load operation. Compressor has 25%-50%-75%-100% segmental adjust functions and non-segment functions to be fully compatible with building loads. Compared with piston compressors, the screw type compressor has fewer moving parts, only 1/3-1/4 of the piston compressor.

Finned condenser
The air cooling finned condenser adopts an inner grooved copper tube with hydrophilic aluminum fins. The copper tube and fins are tightly bound together to achieve the best heat exchange effects.

Shell and tube type evaporator
The pressure vessels are constructed form high-quality steel plate. Its manufacture and testing meets JB/T4750-2003 ‘Pressure Vessel for Refrigeration Equipment' standards. Exterior surface features flame-retardant water-proof heat-insulation and preservation materials. The evaporator baffle plate adopts PVC engineering plastic which has excellent corrosion resistance and good air impermeability to make the cooling water flow upwards and downwards along the baffle plate. This improves the heat exchange capacity of the evaporator.

Expansion valve
The electronic expansion valve control system can reach a control accuracy up to 2600 steps. According to suction superheating and saturation pressure, combined with the electronic control system, we can precisely control the refrigerant flow, so as to ensure the unit is always in best running condition and the maximum capacity can be achieved. The adoption of highly efficient heat exchange tubes improves energy efficiency and effectiveness.

Distribution control box
Distribution control cabinet. The distribution control cabinet is composed of compressor starting equipment, a power protector and a micro-computerized controller. The micro-computerized controller can run stably and safely under a temperature range of -15℃ to 65℃. It is equipped with a RS-232 and RS-485 standard communication interface. It can receive a remote signal for starting up and shutting down.

High and low voltage switch, anti-freezing temperature control, lube oil heater, high-pressure exhaust check valve, replaceable filter element dry filter, piezometer, emergency stop switch, overload protector, power protector, refrigerant injector.
